Born and raised in North London, I entered the decorating trade soon after leaving school in 1969 and attended evening classes at Tottenham Technical college to gain a City and Guilds certificate. My work at that time was mostly in the London and Hertfordshire area where I then lived. During the early 1990s I changed career and studied social work at Middlesex University, going on to become a manager for one of the UKs leading care providers and then for a local North London authority. Shortly after re-locating to North Essex in 2010, I decided to return to my original profession and started up on my own as a sole trader painting and decorating service. So thats around 30 years experience!
Outside of work my hobbies and interests include vegetarian cooking, gardening, playing mandolin and ukulele and listening to folk and jazz music. I'm also a follower of Tottenham Hotspur FC.
I now live in Great Clacton with my wife and two dogs.
